In The Beginning...

Teesha & Darren met at New Life young adults in Kelowna a few years ago...they both served on the young adults leadership team. During this time they got to know each other & developed a strong friendship. Eventually Darren realized that Teesha was quite the catch and became interested in a bit more then friends...around the same time, Teesha was coming to the same conclusion! One evening they went out with another couple...halfway through Teesha realized that this was actually a date & it's been going strong since then!!

Darren was born September 2, 1982 and grew up in Ft. St. John. He is the youngest of five childern. Darren came to Kelowna in 2003 and began working on the tallest high-rise in Kelowna, Park Place. He has also been involved with the Young adults and Leading Mens groups at New Life Church. Darren is currently apprenticing as a carpenter in Kelowna & has dreams of building teesha their little love nest. Darren really enjoys snowboarding, baseball, pool & volleyball....and of course loves Teesha!!

Teesha was born September 1, 1980 and grew up in the lower mainland & Williams Lake. After graduating Teesha went with YWAM. She then attended Trinity Western University & Western Penecostal College and recieved her degree in General Studies with a major in Linguistics. For the past few years Teesha has been living in Kelowna, BC teaching English & being invloved in her church body at 'New Life Church'. Teesha is a beautiful person with a strong character who has a heart for God...a lover of doing anything in the outdoors, Teesha lovingly adopted & repaired an old abandoned kayak! Teesha is a faithful friend and will make an amazing help-mate for darren!!!
